1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Harriet Irsay Scholarship awards a scholarship to students, preferably of Polish Heritage, who wish to continue their education after high school and through college. With an eye toward the future and the distribution of information regarding Polish culture, history and people, the grants are given to students from a variety of majors and academic disciplines. All areas of study are considered, including Liberal Arts, Polish Studies, and Public Relations. Graduate students in business programs whose thesis is preferably directly related to Poland; and graduate students in all majors whose thesis is preferably on a Polish subject may also apply. An original article written by the applicant on any subject about Poland must be submitted. Three original recommendation letters from teachers or others who are familiar with the academic background and the applicant's plans for the future are also required.
