The Lettie Pate Whitehead Foundation Scholarship is open to undergraduate students enrolled full-time. In accordance with guidelines prescribed by the founder, the grantee institutions award scholarships based on need to Christian women who reside in one of the specified southern states. Students must reside in one of the following states: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, or Virginia.
