The Legacy of Learning Jaroslav "Jerry" Stepanek Memorial Scholarship was established in honor of Jerry Stepanek to support young people entering the building and construction trades. This will continue Jerry's legacy of being a mentor and skilled craftsman in the field of construction and architecture. The applicant must demonstrate a desire to pursue a career in the construction industry: Architecture, Engineering, Design (Interior and Build). The scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors, transfer students and returning students. Preference will be given to students returning to work in Monterey County after completion.
