1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The American Association of Blacks in Energy proudly supports the academic achievements of students who desire careers in the energy industry, by awarding scholarships to those students who meet the minimum scholarship qualifications. Six regional scholarships will be awarded at $3000 each; and one national scholarship will be awarded at $5000. The national scholarship will be awarded for up to 4 years. Applicants must be graduating high school seniors who intend to enroll next semester in an accredited college or university pursuing a major in business, one of the physical sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics fields (STEM). Though founded to address funding inequities in education resources for African Americans, AABE-administered scholarships are open to all ethnicities; the great majority of recipients are still African-American.
