The Western Michigan University Foundation Scholars Scholarship is open to first-year students enrolling in the fall. Scholarships are awarded based on the transcript GPA at the time of admission. Applicants must have verified financial need based on one or more criteria: A. Student is enrolled in or eligible to participate in the Federal Free or Reduced Price Lunch program (FRPL). B. Student is a ward of the state, an orphan, or in foster care. C. Student is homeless, as determined by their district's McKinney-Vento Liaison. D. Student is undocumented/DACA.
