1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The CBC Spouses Visual Arts Scholarship was established to provide financial assistance to African American or Black students pursuing a degree in the visual arts. Visual arts include architecture, ceramics, drawing, fashion, graphic design, illustration, interior design, painting, photography, sketching, video production, etc. Applicants must be preparing to pursue, or currently pursuing, an undergraduate, graduate or doctoral degree at an accredited college or university. Current high school seniors are also eligible to apply. Applicants must also exhibit leadership and be active in the community. Applicants must submit their personal statement in a video form. Applicants must also provide samples of their creative work, not to exceed 5 images, or a sample video for non-illustration areas of concentration. Two letters of recommendation must be submitted.
