The Black Women Lawyers' Association Scholarship Fund (BWLA-SF) endeavors to uplift Black students in the law by providing resources and mentorship in support of their legal education and career advancement. The purpose of the BWLA-SF Fall Book Scholarship is to meet a portion of the financial needs of current law students. Applicants must attend an ABA-accredited law school in the Chicagoland area or have a demonstrated present or future connection to the Chicago legal market; demonstrate a commitment to public service or diversity (evidenced by current leadership or participation in community service or outreach); and supply a letter of good standing from your school's registrar.
