1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Kansas Ethnic Minority Scholarship is intended to assist high school seniors who will be entering their first year of college in the state of Kansas. Recipients are academically competitive students who identify as members of any of the eligible ethnic or racial groups. Priority is given to applicants who will graduate from high school in 2024. To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must meet at least one of the following criteria: (1) have an ACT score of at least 21 or SAT of at least 1060-1090; or (2) have a cumulative high school GPA of 3.00 or higher; or (3) have a high school rank in the upper 33 percent; or (4) have completed a Kansas Scholars Curriculum; or (5) have been selected by National Merit Corporation in any category; or (6) have been selected by the College Board as a Hispanic Scholar. Prior recipients who are undergraduates may receive funds for four consecutive years, five years if enrolled in a designated five-year program. All applicants must complete and submit their FAFSA and the State of Kansas Student Aid Application. New applicants must also have their Ethnic Minority Scholarship Information Form completed by a high school official. Please visit the scholarship's website for more information.
