1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Raymond Davis Scholarship was established in memory of Raymond Davis, a nationally recognized and highly-esteemed pioneer in the areas of photographic sensitometry, colorimetry, and microphotography. This scholarship is given to an advanced-level undergraduate or a graduate student with an academic and/or research focus in a field related to imaging. The applicant must be an undergraduate who has completed two academic years of study or a graduate-level student. They must be a student at an accredited institution pursuing an academic degree. Applicants must provide their educational background, listing the undergraduate and graduate schools they have attended. Supporting letters from at least two persons who are familiar with the applicant's academic goals and accomplishments and are able to judge its quality must also be submitted. If the applicant is a graduate student, an abstract of their plan for advanced study, research, and thesis topic is required. An interview with the applicant may also be requested.
